I'm pretty sure it isn't, no. At her beginning she had a long mane that appeared to be naturally straight, and I've read a couple of times (I think) she had it iron curled, or something close to that.

I always thought her hair was naturally wavy and that when it was straight is was straightened with a flat iron. Now I'm not certain..
