kelles, thank so much for Jenny's ed. truly beautiful and awe inspiring. today it's sorta cliche and like whatever to see models, celebrities covered in ink but it's quite liberating to know a publication like French GLAMOUR had the conviction and open-mind to center an entire editorial around a solo crazy colored, short-haired, minimally made-up, tattooed Asian American model.
Fast-forward 10 years what other mainstream fashion publication has done this. Exaclty.
Jenny looks strong, self-assured and in touch with her sexuality without being vulgar.Love the way this era often forgoed theatrics and focused on the beauty of the model and clothes.
Oh I'm dying to get an ID on the beautiful unknown in Fripe. I remember seeing her in Mademoiselle ed shot by Sorrenti around 93 and her face was a dream.
Also the other unknown olive skinned model in Blanc. I'm pretty sure she did Noxema ads in the mids 90s if that rings a bell..
