Daughter of Alberto Repossi, head of the family’s eponymous house of joallaire with headquarters in Milan, Paris, and Monte Carlo, twenty-three-year-old Gaia has been the brand’s artistic director for the past three years. In 2007 the former Sorbonne anthropology student launched the Czarina collection, signed by Ere by Repossi, with childhood friend Eugenie Niarchos in hopes of cultivating a youthful market. In October of this year Gaia and Eugenie launched the Nérée by Repossi collection with a fete at the Ritz Hotel in Paris attended by Karl Lagerfeld, Mary-Kate Olsen and every jet setter in between
