Amazing end of chapter 8, very well done yes sir ,so intense.. i take my hat off.
Also a thumbs up for Catelyn Stark when she saw Robb come from battle, her reaction was so moving.
The scene when Jon discovers the true identity of master Aemon was so impresive as well , he stood with his mouth open
And the most funny moment in the chapter .... Half man, half man !....Pong

it was Sean Bean so I wasn't surprised that that happened

but it's this sort of subversiveness with the traditional narrative of this sort of genre that is making the show really engaging and a really good fit for HBO

I read the book, so I expected it. I was still hoping maybe it wouldn't happen though.
And I'm really sad to find out there's only 10 episodes in this season.
That really sucks and I already know they're going to end Season 1 with a massive cliffhanger.

If I got anything from this episode though, it's that I LOATHE that little, inbred twat Joffrey more than any other character in the entire series!

^The show is actually really close to the books.
There are obviously some differences, but for the most part, it's the exact same.

I still recommend the books though, even if you start with book 2.

the tv show only represents the 30% of the content of the book , they took off so many characters, so many events and so many conversations that make the story much more rich and comprehensible, i thought the tv show was good until i started reading the books.

^I think they will. HBO tends to have long running shows, so if they do one book per season, there will be 7 seasons (that is...if the author releases the books sooner).

I am absolutely hooked on Game of Thrones! I can't believe there is only one episode left in the season; what will I do without my weekly fix??

I must confess, though, I have a major crush on Jon Snow/Kit Harington. I may have just spent over an hour looking and pictures and/or watching interviews

Great Season Finale! I kind of wish I hadn't read some of the books now, so I would have been more shocked.

But loved the scene with Dany and also can't wait to see Arya's story next season!

such an emotive , exciting and amazing chapter for the season finale, i loved it !
What i'm going to say is not written in the books so it's not a spoiler , but i have the feeling the paths of Daenerys and Jon's will meet someday ,at least i'd like to.
The stakes are all high for the next season, and for all of you who read the books the 12 of July is released the 5º book of the serie.

I just finished the books and I'm sorry I did. The story is so amazing. Now I have nothing left to read until GRR Martin FINALLY puts out the next one. UGH
