garnier fructis, bad or good?

It smells great coz I luv fruity stuff. But if you're gonna buy a cheap shampoo, you're better off with Pantene. It's really really really good for a cheapie. I've faffed around with so many expensive shampoos (Redken, Paul Mitchell, Charles Worthington....) and I always come back to my beloved Pantene.

It's ok to me. I use it once in a while and my hair usually gets quite soft..

(This thread reminds me to book a time for a hairdresser.)
Garnier is just simply bad!
It feels like the shampoo and conditioner just don't come of from your hair and the hair styling products aren't good.
But I do like the smell! Isn't it kinda like apple?

i really like the garnier fructis " long and strong " fortifying shampoo and conditioner!

they make my hair so soft and i luv the fruity smell!

I really like Garnier Fructis...it makes my hair really smooth and silky, and the conditioner is good for combing out knots in the shower. I love it!

The smell is good too, though its not the reason I buy it.
It really depends on what suits you hair type...for example panatene makes my hair go dry at the ends.

I've heard that Fructis contains more silicone than other shampoos. Therefore, in the beginning, your hair seems to be left smooth and soft, but after using it several times, it gets dry, heavy etc.

Anyways, many hair stylists have told me that Fructis is the crap, and that in the end it destroys your hair. Personally, it makes my hair very heavy, tired, dry and matte

I hate it. It left this weird film in my scalp that's giving me dandruff and it makes it itchy. I've only had dandruff twice in my life and I've used cheap shampoo's before and never caused this.

there are far too much silicones in these fructies shampoos and they destroy your hair..

tried this shampoo once, my hair looked so "dirty" after useing it..
after the second day it looked like i havn't washed my hair for a week :ninja:

after reading comments.. guess it depends on your hair o_o

i use the garnier fructis anti-dandruff stuff now.. have used the regular kind.. i doubt that the dandruff has something to do with this shampoo, because i get dandruff often

anyway, it leaves my hair very smooth, shiny and with few tangles. I like it. ^_^

I use the hair mask but that's about all. The shampoo and conditioner seem to silky to me. I guess it's the silicones. The only reason I keep using the mask is because of the smell. I should really work on finding one that actually works as opposed to the smell (and incredibly cheap price- definate plus if it actually worked!).

I do as well. I think pantene makes my hair smell great and look exta shiny. The garnier, smells so awesome, I could almost eat it, but for some reason after just one day, my hair gets really greasy and then the smell takes a turn for the worst.I had the Long and Strong formula. I could be wrong, but I felt like my hair was falling out a little, not handfuls, but more than usual.
