this is pretty amazing considering how dreadful GAS used to be (in my opinion GAS is a crossover of bad italian-style-Diesel-rip-off-meets-eastblock-suburbian-youth-trendy)

Still, its really not that groundbreaking now is it. I wouldnt necessarily call it
fine/high fashion. But definetely better han expected.

Sorry, how did they used to look like? I've never heard of this brand.

As you can see, it's pretty basic. Maybe I was a little harsh in my description in my first description, it's just that I have been very frustrated in situations where I have had to use GAS for styling (because they were advertisers in the magazines I did work for)

Anyway, as I said, I think it looks quite alright. No big "new" trend or anything, just genuinely going with the flow. You know, copying.

But its nice for us guys to have an alternative to the designer stuff, as you girls have a lot of chains copying the catwalks. We guys don't have many options.

collection looks unfocused and a melting pop rip off of dior homme, prada, cloak and dolce gabbana

Hahaha...I was going to say Dior Homme, Dolce & Gabbana, Cloak, and Balenciaga.

Totally rip off, but they're not trying to be anything else, that's what I tried to explain. Its a cheap brand, that do designer knock off's nothing more. They've just gotten a little better at it now, thats all, it looks better

agreed, these few pics posted are quite very good for what GAS is.. they only added non-jeanswear very very recently, so good for them

my only objections is that jeanslines should just stay at their showrooms, catwalks should be reserved for 'more' creative labels

well my answer to that would be a .

it's not dreadful, but needs a lot more originality. some of the looks are exactly the same clothes in Dior and Cloak past 2 seasons

i am very pleased to buy something like/similar to dior, cloak, yet with a good quality at a much cheaper price...:D , although especially the biker jacket look is really copying the doir classic look...

ditto

This collection is really on par with Energie as well as for price points. Really for young boys who want their Dior et al and pay for it too. It has it's place (in a showroom as noted before).

Atleast it is different from what we have seen from Milan so far... ^_^
