i think its adorable, but only on boys.

me too. my boyfriend wears huge geek glasses, but he needs them to see. it's so cute......

i don't think it's contrived at all. i guess it depends on the person wearing them.

As someone who has had to wear glasses since childhood I can't tell you how nice it is to see that this is a trend. Contact lenses, while nice can be such a hassle and I used to feel quite odd wearing my glasses / feel like I couldn't dress up and wear my glasses at the same time. Now I'm considering getting a few more pairs to coordinate with outfits. I typically wear a geeky silver pair but seeing those awesome black ones on the Givenchy runway is inspiring me to branch out.

Definately. I have really bad eyesight & wear stupid green plastic-framed glasses a lot, & it's nice to not have to bother with contact lenses & stuff.

I love the look on guys, the Morrissey rip-off thing used to annoy me a bit, but it's grown on me, I have to say.

I think girls look really sexy and sophisticated and on the one hand i cant wait for people to start recognising glasses as a really cool fashion accessory but on the other hand i dont want them to become so mainstream that everyone is wearing them
i have to say, i can't resist a guy in geeky glasses...they're just so cute!! I saw an asian guy in a shop the other day with wide-armed geek glasses...he was soooo hot it was unbelievable...nobody could take their eyes off him...actually that might have just been me!!!!

nearly every guy ive been out with or fancied has worn glasses...there just something i find really sexy about a guy in glasses!!!

This is the closest I get to geek glasses...(these are my own, prescrition frames/lenses.) Those huge ones are too big on a petite person like me.

Marc Jacobs and Johnny Depp are goregeous in their geeky frames though.
