^ they are shooting right now in Hawaii, and they reported that Gemma would be shooting there too.
there have already been shots released of Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz shooting there, so hopefully some shots will include Gemma very soon!!!

I was thinking about it more and I wonder if there will even be on set pictures of Gemma considering she is playing a mermaid. Her scenes may be filmed in one of those water tanks with a green screen or something, so it makes it seem less likely.

We may get a picture of her, but probably not in costume. I'm more excited about seeing her in the actual movie anyway.

^A lot of mermaid scenes in films are on rocks or on beaches, plus I doubt they would take her all the way to Hawaii just to sit in a tank with a green screen when they could just do that in a studio.

So, I was browsing models.com and... behold, this:

I realise that they haven't put a name to 'Ms. Perfect' but it does look quite like Gemma Ward. Who else could be that perfect?
[Ok. I realise it could be a few other girls, ex. Stam or even Trentini]...I'm really hoping this is a shout-out from the fashion industry, and a sign that they're waiting for her return.

That was the hint regarding the cover. Gemma's been around for 7 years i don't think she can be re-invented as a new face

well, i don't think it is gemma, i just think they're being a little ironic about calling the doll a "new face". i really don't think it was a photograph of anyone, just a computer generated something or other made to look like doll faced models. but who knows, maybe when the issue comes out we get more perspective.
