Well it did say Gemma pulled out rather than Vogue Aus having issue.
Maybe Gemma is just wanting a little more time to be in tip top shape to give her comeback a real go.
My optimistic side says this is all for publicity for Vogue and Australian Fashion Week and that Gemma has already scored the cover!

Vogue Australia was ready to shoot her - but it was Gemma who didn't want to do it in the end.

I like Gemma and all, but the fate of her modelling career - should she want it - is all up to her.

Hmmm. According to Frockwriter, IMG has an exclusive with Vogue for their models to be the covers in their Model series, so perhaps this Gemma hype is all part of that deal, whether she is on a cover or not.

i know i might be in the minority here but i'm kinda glad she didn't show up for AFW. i would've looved seeing knew pics & all but personally i feel like it would've messed with her exclusivity. like it was said before she can't afford to have a lukewarm comeback..
