She's doing a horrible job at having a comeback.
the hype is long gone, I doubt she could be at the top even if she didn't quit in 2008 , but anyway she is a great model, I still have hope for her to achieve some blue chip jobs.

I don't think she's trying to do a BIG comeback. It is clear which are her priorities now.

. Some of her contemporaries are slaying at their comebacks snagging campaigns, covers, eds and popping up exclusively or selectively on the runways yet she hasn't done anything MAJOR for months... Smdh

The difference between Gemma and those other girls is that Gemma's priority isn't modelling; it's her family. And that is perfectly valid. I don't think anyone should be throwing shade at her for that.100% agree

I really think Gemma hates the fashion world with a passion and will probably just pop up and claim a few million when she feels the need to top up the bank.

At this point I wonder if she didnt get any interesting proposals and that's why we havent seen more of her... I thought a VI cover was a sure thing but that should have happened months ago. Perhaps the fashion world just doesnt care for her anymore?
Is she doing something with her acting career or just focusing all her time in her family right now?

Well i mean we don't know her personally, but we do know her work professionally, and she was the top working model for several years.
She's obviously doing it for the money; like every other model, and one Prada campaign isn't going to set you for life, and i don't think she has the luxury of picking and choosing who she works with.
Unfortunately, i think it's down to lack of interest. "Gemma Ward" probably comes with a big asking price, and maybe designers don't see it as worth it - as her break from fashion was longer than her actual glory days.
Campaigns are one thing, but no major editorial or cover work for 6 months is another. That speaks volumes for a girl who had like 15 Vogue covers in one year.

She has that contract with Coke Life and she was in Paris a little while back so hopefully a Vogue cover will come out of that. I'm hoping more work will be published soon.
I'd rather she got into acting because she was pretty good in what we've seen so far and she seemed to prefer it to modelling. (And then magazine covers as an actor would come rolling in woo)
I also don't think the fashion world has lost interest, I think it's always been the other way around.
