Gemma would need some sort of widespread commercial exposure and I just can't see her doing VS or anything like that. She's cute and all but sexy!? She's very unique looking and I think will be known in the fashion world but I can't see it going far beyond that, unless she became a serious actress.

Gisele has the classic face. Not to mention her star power which she achieved over the years. Mainstream loves her. Men loves her.

Gemma has the quirky face. Trendy now and old news tommorrow. Only a few will take to her while the masses, especially men will be put off by her. And she isn't Kate who has lots of sex appeal even when she was a 'heroine chic'.

It will take another Gisele to take down THE Gisele to numero uno B)

To be honest, I don't like, and never been into and still don't get her look, but this girl is just everywhere and won't go away. I don't know what's her look, alien or chucky's bride. Anyways, Ms Ward is becoming the the designer's darling ( with Daria's absence), and I think she's becoming the face of the decade, as to Kate Moss is to the 90's. And Why Not. Gem is caucasian but she looks asian or russian, thus very global. This bug-eyed cutie is poised to replace the reigning (and tired) super of the all, Gisele Bundchen. Ward has the youth on her side, it's just a matter of time.

I definately prefer Gisele, she has such a Supermodel Quality! and looks more attractive. She has good body, even maybe is not as thin as Gemma, Cuz gemma is only 17...who know how things will go when she is at Gisele' age? Will she still be thin as now?

I dont say that "because who is thinest, I will love who" People need to eat and we need to think a healthy thin built body is beautiful!

Gemma is good, while Gisele is great! even better than Kate Moss~ Maybe they all have bad things. We are human, human is no perfect...here, just to mention who has the great model quality, Gisele will be the one of them three!

I think that hurts Gemma's mainstream appeal. All the really "famous" and "successful" mainstream supermodels have never been bone thin...therefore Gisele's pseudo "curvy" figure actually help her.

I love Gemma but Gisele is much more of an international celebrity. I mean, she's basically a house hold name. If Gemma were to do Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated the way that Gisele has then she probably could surpass Gisele but I think Gemma is much more fashion and less celebrity in terms of her attitude.
Gisele is a sex bomb and Gemma is a fashionista. Neither will ever come close to being Kate although I think a lot of Kate's initial success had to do with the era in which she began modeling. I think in modeling you need to really take into consideration how long a girl can keep a strong career going for...that will ultimately be the test of Gemma's success. In my opinion at least.

No, in my opinion, never. Like KiaraDanielle11 said, Giselle is an international celebrity, people outside the fashion-world know her and recognize her. Go up to a random person on the street, I highly doubt that they'll know who Gemma is. Even in terms of editorials or ad camaigns or contracts, No.
