I still don't know whether I like her or consider her a descendent of some sort of alien that crash-landed on earth and decidedto mate with the women here. Maybe both.

Anyway, she doesn't look like anyone else in the fashion world. Kudos to her for that! May she have a long and healthy career.

(she almost pulls the hair off. almost.)

(she looks rather terrible when they try to make her look grown up)

(nor does she look good in fake and bake)

(but she's really quite stunning in fresh, minimal make-up, no?)

funnyfan - I completely agree - the fresh-faced look is fantastic on her - at least that proves that she has amazing natural beauty.

I can empathize, though - I myself never look good in tons of makeup - I could try doing a really dramatic smoky eye, but I always look really weird - natural works best on myself as well. Another reason that she's my favourite model-of-the-moment.

Gemma has an editorial with Lily Cole in the August 2004 issue of Vogue (and another YSL ad)...the editorial is...interesting. They put her in a blunt-cut, bob wig...she looks good but I've never seen her with BLACK hair.

I can't wait to see what she'll get in the big september issues of magazines...

I'd scan the pictures, but my scanner is only hooked up to my dying desktop, so I can't...

Yeah, revolting is the correct word to use. Seriously, whenever I see her, I get shocked.
