I can see what you mean, but I think could also be because of the different thicknesses of her eye lids, actually - her left eyelid (er, the visible part) is thinner than the one on her right eye - it can make you look weird - or perhaps one eye blinks slightly faster than the other! haha.

Who knows! I just wonder, because in a bunch of other shots I've seen her her, I can't really tell a difference in the positioning of her eyes, just the thickness of her lids.

she has got to be one of the most gorgeous creatures around

I have been thinking Gemma Ward would be super situable to be transformed in Extreme Makeover. I guees Plastic surgeons are completly desperate trying to contact her.

that is silly. gemma is in the top 5 models for a year or 2.
her accumulation of magazine covers, edits, shows & campaigns is stellar-
any model would kill to have her resume and what is she, 18?

also just to demonstrate subjectivity, and why no one opinion is gospel,
in my opinion, cindy crawford is over-all a bland model. she was effective in the sports illustrated playboy- busty category, but not much more, her worldwide stardom to me reprsents her middle-of-the road typicality.

isabeli too has an outstanding resume but like alessandra she to me is a more typical beauty look, not captivating like louise julia or marija.

paulina P, yes she was an exciting model, she represents 80s high fashion far better than cindy C & I daresay paulina could be top 20 today since her look is so in [polish-eastern europe]. she was also an ultimate professional & one of the first models I ever met & she was breathtaking & super nice.
gemma is a consummate professional & thats not easy when you start out at 14 or 15.

brooke shields was a great child model and blossomed into a teen superstar but her look, while perfect for late 70s/early 80s, also is a bit on the commercial side seen by todays standards.

i give these opinions to demonstrate that your subjective criticism of gemma is no more relevant than my distaste of cindy c or isabeli-

all that matters really is that gemma is in the top 5 models currently & so every magazine, designer & industry pro seems to love gemma. suddenly your lack of appreciation of gemma looks insignificant now, maybe?

LOL that must be my problem... coz my right eye blinks so much faster than my left(from my point of view) it really annoying when you think about it...grrr i just try not to think about it
