i am looking for the name of a chanel bag that was limited edition.. its more of a casual bag... it comes in the shapes of plain tote styles. i remember seeing black and light pink. it has the chanel logo & chanel written all over.

id really appreciate anyone who knows what im talking about! =p

Anyone tried using leather protector or cleaners on Chanel Lambskin?

I did a bad thing by bringing my chanel lambskin (the little one with charms) in lilac out to a bar last week.. just for 20 mins!!! i didn't even drink or dance.. just some smoke from NOWHERE settled on it i suppose and the lilac's looking a little dingey... help!!!!

I have a Chanel lambskin from this season in a pale beige/grey color (I now wonder what I was thinking when I bought it - I mean, I love it, but the color is so light). When I got it I sprayed it - twice - with Vectra. It kind of freaked me out at first, because the spray turned it dark but when it dried it was not one bit darker. Anyway, I had it out last night - went out to dinner. We sat outside and my bag fell on the ground. When I got home and inspected the bag - there was no dirt but I did notice some finger prints. So I sprayed some Vectra on a clean dry soft cloth and dabbed at the finger prints (didn't rub - I could tell rubbing could damage the lambskin) - it looked awful until it dried. Now the finger prints are gone and it looks perfect. I can see spot cleaning the lambskin like this when it has been previously sprayed the Vectra as a protectant/repellent - but I don't think you can clean your entire bag this way. Maybe you should get some Vectra and spray it to prevent more damage in the future - ???

Metallic comes in black, silver and gold. The medium bowling is 2200, and large bowling is 2600 approx.

I've been looking around on the web for a place to get info on chanel bag models through the years... I am looking at buying an older one off of ebay, never seen the style before, and just wondering about it. does anyone know if tassels are a dead giveaway of a fake? thanks!

you are correct - there was a period of time when alot of the Chanel styles had that big tassel - but, of course, the fakes at that time had them as well.

Is there any cheap authentic chanel handbag?

I wanted to buy a chanel handbag for so long but I couldn't afford one. I do have enough savings but I don't want to spend all my savings on one bag. Is there any chanel handbag that start with 300 or 400. Or was I hallucinating?

Re. Vintage bags, you may be able to get a really good price on them if they're pretty old and worn.

The large in caviar leather is around £860, so the small one is unlikely to be under £600.

The ones you see on the website are generally in-season ones (as opposed to permanent collection) which are around the £1000 mark.

Hey there Chanel-o-philes. I am seriously dying over the classic flap bag and neeeeeeeeeed one. I have never owned one.
I want an older one, and have been looking on Ebay. Is there anyone that might be able to help me figure out from looking at pics if the bag is real? I am including 2 pics of the one I have my eye on
