question on chanel classic flap bag

what are the new s/s 2006 colors for the classic flap bag (2.55, not reissue) caviar leather??

i'm considering a medium in white caviar and silver hardware but is it still available?

I came across another picture today...is this a different style than the one Nicky was pictured with? It looks to be the same size, but the flap is different.

White is definitely available as I've seen one in a boutique about 6 weeks ago - it was gorgeous and caviar leather in lighter color chanel bags is so much easier to maintain. Good luck in finding one .

I've purchased alot of purse from Neiman's before I've never had a problem with any of my bags being fake. Trust me, I can spot fakes really well! The only set back is to make sure you keep your receipt i know that these receipts are thermally printed and fades over time. If you can, photocopy your receipt and put it away. Neiman Marcus suck when it comes down to customer service. If your purse has a problem with it and you want Neiman's to ship it out to get it fixed you'd better have your receipt! If you happen to live in a big city then try going directly to the boutique to buy the item. I always do that and they have you on file after your purchase. But, they update their systems and your client info may or may not be there. So, all in all keep your receipts in a good safe place and never pay cash!

Anyone tried using leather protector or cleaners on Chanel Lambskin?

I did a bad thing by bringing my chanel lambskin (the little one with charms) in lilac out to a bar last week.. just for 20 mins!!! i didn't even drink or dance.. just some smoke from NOWHERE settled on it i suppose and the lilac's looking a little dingey... help!!!!

Chanel's Classic Jumbo now has a longer flap. The one Nicky Hilton has in pink is the older model. Its a bit boxier looking than that red one photo'd.

i'm actually rather glad (although it's kinda frustrating sometimes) that chanel products (aside from cosmetics, skincare, fragrance) aren't sold online... it makes it more exclusive and slightly less accessible than the point and click LV, dior, etc.

I am just reading through this thread for the first time. They are selling Chanel on Bluefly now go figure.

Is there anyone from Paris? My mom's there right now and I told her to get me the Chanel cambon flats. They're sold out in the Champs de Elyss(Sp?), in the Singapore and the Hong Kong boutiques. Does anyone know where I can get 'em. I'm desperate!!

I noticed the discussion on the pink and white caviar jumbo classic flap bags and decided to post my collection which has those. Also navy jumbo, black and white cambon flap tote, red tote and vintage black carryon luggage. And a small or medium? black caviar w/ silver chain that I use for evenings out that I forgot to photograph. The black Cambon was my first Chanel and the white one was recently purchases last week. And I hope I am done now with the Chanel collection!
