You're probably right... that's why I posted here before buying... need some sense knocked into me 
The interior is jaquard, so that would be suitable for daily use at least. I am completely in love with this bag, but don't know if I can rationalize the $1800ish if I will barely be able to use it. Bad pic below (from eBay) - it's actually black:

. I LOVE that bag! It's $1,695 for caviar leather that is shown in the pic.

. I'm going back next Saturday to get one. As soon as I saw the size, the leather and the silver hardware I fell in love with them. I don't think they're anywhere near as long as the 228 but they probably taller, the 228 is more of an east/west bag. It's definitely a big chanel bag and one things for sure, you'll be able to fit all your essentials in it, and then some, because there is a lot of room inside. I like that they didn't break this bag into two sections like the medium classic - IMHO that wastes precious space as the bag is small inside to begin with.
