Sparks fly for George Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis at fireworks show

It was an electrifying display at a fireworks show attended by George Clooney and Elisabetta, and not just up in the air.
Sparks were flying between the actor and his girlfriend as they giggled and cuddled while taking in the sky spectacular from a boat on Lake Como in Italy.
The 49-year-old could barely keep his hands off the brunette TV presenter, 31,who was dressed in an off-the-shoulder T-shirt and denim hotpants.

Fellow A-list star Uma Thurman, 40, was also on board with her French billionaire beau Arki Busson, 47, but they were decidedly less tactile.
In fact the pair, who reunited earlier this year after calling off their engagement, kept their distance by sitting well apart.
At one point the famous party narrowly avoided disaster when a firecracker exploded next to their boat.

The group, including Clooney, dived for cover but luckily no one was injured and they carried on with their fun.
Meanwhile, Clooney was this week called to testify as a witness in a multi-million pound Italian fraud case.
Extra security has been drafted in for when the star of the Ocean's series and gives evidence in the hearing against three people accused of using his name in an intricate fraud.
Vincenzo Cannalire, Francesco Galdelli and Vanja Goggi are said to have created a clothing label using the star's name and then conning suppliers into thinking it had his backing.
