The underwater shoots are so tacky! Everything about them: the costumes, the make-up, the colors... What a pity.

Those underwanter pictures never turn out to be good. I don't even know why they still do them? I mean yeah maybe it's a challenge for the girls and it's kind of interesting for the viewers but what's the point of it when the result is crap? At least they look a little more decent than the ones they did in season 4, anyone remember?
I'm also wondering that Bingyang gets lke almost no screentime. They totally skipped her in the first episode, I didn't even know she was part of the 25 girls or whatever. Then they did not show her at the hight shoot and neither at the one in the desert. Like the only thing I have heard of her is a "Thank you". Is she just too boring for Pro7 or does it have other reasons maybe?

I have to say, I really like the desert shoots and, imo, the last 2 episodes have been not that bad. I enjoyed them. Well, its a TV Show and not be taken to seriuosly anyway.
Heidi seems to be more relaxed then ever... the jury with Enrique seems ok.
Next week, beauty episode, makeover... hi hi, I always look forward to that - to all the drama

It's been only two episodes but I it seems like they've taken the criticism seriously and went with a different concept this time. Younger girls with good proportions and measurements. Less soap opera, more actual modeling. It also seems like they've picked the girls for their talent this time and not because their characters clashing will cause the most drama.

it looks as if a girl clique won in a lottery contest a photo shooting with a renowned photographer - but the photographer is innocent imo

I found the Sedcard-Shootings today surprisingly nice! The reason might be they were so reduced and clean, no trashy "chicness" going on...

Im not really that amazed with the new cycle as everyone seems to. Yes, it is better then the last few. But honestly, when you look at these pictures... its a bit underwhelming. There are may be quite some modelesque girls there but it doesnt work in the photos - bad for a model logically. The only one whose pic was great this week - Jacqueline.

Marie has the looks and all but not convincing in her photos yet.
The rest is either generically good looking /0815 or too commercial it hurts ( Anna Marie, Lovelyn, etc.) or just plain unphotogenic ( Anna the Heidi's pick).

^I kind of agree on your argument about the girls. There is not really one with an "edge" (Jacqueline is the only exception in my eyes). Most of them are nice and sweet looking and thats it. But I rather take them over a Gina-Lisa or Sarah Dingens or Sara Kulkas who didnt have any modelqualities at all. They just have been there for the entertainment. So this time, I enjoy that there is less bitching and fighting, the focus is more on the "real" stuff (getting sedcard done, make-up training ect.). Even if the girls are not that special its nice to watch.
And there are still some girls who are interesting (Jacqueline, Marie, Luise, Sabrina).

I heard next week there will be Jessica Stam, Chanel Iman and Irina Shayk. So looking very forward to this!

I think this season is the worst of all.
There's not a single girl that has any potential to be a less or more successful model. All these girls pretty average and none of them is striking.
Also the judges' decisions are ridiculous. Most girls have horrible walks and they are praising those girls.
Only cool thing about yesterday's episode was Rick Genest!
