I have a few questions...
Does anyone know where I could see pictures of her Geisha photoshoot?
Did she really look like a rebel when she was young; as portrayed by Angelina Jolie(almost like a punk) in the movie Gia?

I'm not aware of that she ever did a Geisha shoot like the one there. But I think the scene was otherwise truthful - ie fleeing from the shoot in order to go to a gallery etc. Anyway, here are two shots of Gia and her gf Sandy Linter from the Mudd Club 1979. (rebelrebelle.com) Yeah, I think she was a punk rocker, and a Bowie fan, and a Blondie fan...you can find her in the Atomic video from 1979 too if you look really hard. Sandy Linter and Debbie Harry look like they've been separated at birth, btw.

yeah she looked a little rebellious in her teen years; I guess...when she was into the David Bowie phase she cut her hair, haha, and looked like this:

sooo cute....Thanks :flower:

Fave quote:
"Jeff here has been telling me that I shake too much and that my nerves are bad, but that's just because I still haven't finished my growing pains."

My fave tribute vid of her so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxKHRy1dILo

Not the best of songs, but really gorgeous and great timing.

OMG, soooo coool  :woot: I've never been into them - except their clothes - too gorey for me and the music is kind of slow, but they're pretty cool in this weird weird way. I would love to know who made their clothes, they are fantastic. Oops, getting off topic here, I should also mention, to anyone who might've missed this thread - Most of the Gia-oh-mia-oh-mya pix from the prized September 1978 Italian Bazaar Book:
