I couldn't agree more! Uniqlo has the right idea and picked designers to make clothes that aren't trying to be pretentious.I prefer the type of collaborations Uniqlo did with Jil Sander and now with other designers... something that has a point of view and not just a cheap version of the original.
I actually thought that the H&M x Alexander Wang collection a few years ago was great. There were some really solid pieces that were stylish but still practical. That's the sort of designer that H&M needs to collaborate with. The pieces here are the sort that you would probably wear once and that's also if they don't fall apart first.
