the major difference....will be that you can change the design to suit you best...
ie-sleeves...no sleeves...raise or lower a neckline...make any adjustment you wish...
that's the point of couture...it's all custom-made to the client's specifications...
armani points this out in the article above...much of the higher priced rtw didn't sell because of minor issues that the client had...so if he makes the couture more accessibly priced...he will actually make a bigger profit than making rtw dresses that don't sell...
that's the strategy...
