S/s 1997: Roversi & Lindbergh/ Stella& Nadja

When i think of Giorgio Armani campaigns, i get very reminiscent and excited. I cannot begin to describe how amazing the 1997's ones were, both for spring Summer.
It was 2 campaigns in 1, by 2 great yet contrasting photographers & 2 iconic muses. For me they captured both aspects of Armani's future campaigns.
Nadja by Lindbergh played the masculine "femme fatale" with short hair in B&W with sophisticated sex appeal, while the second was a series of graceful & blurred Roversi-esque portraits of Stella.
I could go on forever about this catalogue I recommend to anyone.
Stella is on the cover in soft pastel beige colors by Roversi. It epitomizes what i love about fashion campaigns of that era.

The ads with Raquel and Sean are just sublime At times they both look like art decor figures.

I never realized how much I love Armani campaigns but I really really do!

The campaign with Stam and Du totally knocked me out! (Not posted in this thread, but posted in other places on TFS). Now I realize, looking back, how much I love GA ads.... I think they hire the most beautiful models, however I am not really a fan of Raquel
