Why not try a pair of "boy cut" girls' knickers? Your's a slim lad...you could probably wear a 10, I'm guessing. They've got some nice, simple styles these days with great colors and fabrics, that won't give you a wedgie or show over the top of your trousers.

I don't do lace myself (makes my bum itch) but if that's your thang, then go nutty!

Gucci makes tulle underwear for men I think...

Gucci had those sheer black Y fronts with the repeating GG pattern that looked like a lace but still masculine, and I really liked them, but didn't buy them because I had a moratorium on Gucci (don't ask). Helmut Lang was going to do bikini styles when he first came out with a line of underwear (which, I assume, has since died a natural lack-of-sales death), and one style that I wanted badly but they never produced (no doubt because buyers probably shunned it like the plague) involved black shiny material with a metal ring on one hip. Those are the only fun designs for men's underthings that I really liked.

Oh, and Galliano's printed ones are interesting, but still, just slightly off from convention.

In defense of actual girls' underwear, they are probably much more comfortable and fitted to a girl's shape. I wouldn't quite know however, since I've never had a man's shape to stuff into them.

I think that silk boxer/underwear is oh so very sexy for men...because, well, you just want to feel it.

silk boxers are definately great, but i think if a designer made some mens that wernt too femine, I would definately rock them. I personally love roberto cavalli but i know i just couldn't wear that underwear. Its more about knowing what you can and cannot wear. So if anyone has any pics please post them.

It would be nice if men had decent underwear of their very own though. Just fitted legs, cut diagonally upwards to show the top of the thigh for once would be nice.

I've yet to see it on men's undies. Besides, even if the cut is nice there's still the awful colours, weak elastic (to be blunt here, who thought that having everything flopping all over the shop would be attractive?) and industrial grade materials.

I've never been that much concerned with having fancy underwear. A low rise waistband with a shorter cut leg boxer is what I prefer. I actually happen to be currently wearing a pair of boxers that fit this discription and I got them from H&M.
