though i do predict a music album in the coming years. gisele has become quite good on the acoustic guitar, from what i hear, and apparently she has a nice, dusty springfield-esque singing voice.

Good god, I hope not! Why does everyone in the public eye these days think they can do anything, just because they've succeded in one particular field?! Leave music to the people really talented in it, the music world has enough less than spectacular people in it as is.

Hey i'm new here, i just wonder why Gisele stop walk for Dolce&Gabbana show. I used to see her walk for this show very often but why she quite? Are they have any problem? coz i still saw her walk for Dior fall2004. Have anyone know the reason?

I read in an interview that for the most part she's stopped doing runway work al together. Now She just does an occasional show for VS and Brazil's fashion week. By the way, welome to tFS

If you watch her interview in Fashionfile.. she says something along the lines of she misses doing runway.. but she can't imagine being in that hectic schedule again... going through it once was an experience, but once you quit and take some time off its hard to go back and immerse yourself in that lifestyle..

Wow, 1500 for a walk in Milan or Paris, are you sure you didn't miss a zero?

From what I have read, Gisele commands a five-figure day rate for the runway. She was once paid 50,000 for a show by Roberto Cavalli, and that might not even be her all-time highest. But Vanity Fair said that she walked for Marc Jacobs for free.

Dolce & Gabbana was already one of the few shows that she quit last. She's been cutting back on runway shows steadily, but Dolce, Dior, and as well as Marc Jacobs were the last ones to go. She still opened and closed for Marc Jacobs in 2004.

I think she might make a runway comeback next season now that her acting career has fallen sideways. Carmen Kass also returned to modelling full-throttle after the election.

I agree! Having never heard Gisele I can't judge. If she IS really good I'd say go for it, maybe if she's talented enough people will overlook the model turned singer aspect. Somehow I doubt that she that talented though. I find her speaking voice kind of grating so I don't know how much better her singing is. Unless she really is good, she should stick to modelling. Remember Tyra's attempt at a singing career?
