Até quatro meses de gravidez, não existe quase nada. É como um grãozinho. Portanto, acho que a mulher deve ter direito de decidir o que é melhor. Se ela acha que não tem dinheiro ou condição emocional para criar uma criança, como pode dar à luz? É claro que a prevenção é a melhor coisa, mas existem situações que escapam ao controle.
FOLHA - A Igreja Católica é a principal opositora do aborto no Brasil, bem como do uso de camisinha...
GISELE - Proibir camisinha é ridículo, basta pensar nas várias doenças que são transmitidas sem ela. Quando a igreja fez suas leis, milhões de anos atrás, a mulher era virgem, o cara era virgem... GISELE - I am very athletic. I do yoga 2 or 3 times a week, when I have time. I play volley with my friends. I quite smoking 3 years ago. I used to go runnig but not anymore because I fell in NYC coming back from the supermarket and hurted my knee. This is my secret: if you eat you got do sports as well. There is no human being with a good body without working out.
FOLHA - Brasil is talking about abortion lately. What do you think about it?
GISELE - I support women to do what they want to their bodies. I went to an art exhibition in NYC that showed inside human body and the pragnancy phases. Until 4 months of pragnancy, there is almost anything. It is like a little grain. So, women have the right to decide what is better. If they think they wont have enough money or emotional balance to raise a child, how to give birth? Of course they is prevention and it is the best but sometimes things can go out of control.
FOLHA - The Catholic Church is the most critical about abortion in Brazil just like the use of condoms...
GISELE - Do not allow the use of comdons is ridiculous, just think in many diseases that are possible without condoms. When CHURCH made the laws, millions of years ago, woman was a virgen, man was a virgin... Nowadays, nobody who get married are virgins. I think it is mandatory the use of condoms. How it is possible not use condom and not to abort too? That is impossible, sorry.

^ It's nice to get a new interview but I disagree with Gisele on Miss Universe of whatever just being a title. You could say the same of being a model.

CHURCH means like the anciet time, in the sense it appeared ages ago.
The laws mean the Bible quotes that rule the Catholic Church since then.
