Everbody knows Claudia Schiffer & everybody knows Gisele![]()
Everybody knows Claudia et al, yes, though a lot of people really don't know who Gisele is.

not sure about claudia.....I think more people know who Cindy Crawford is more than anyone though.
As this annis horribilis limps off, we should kiss it good riddance with a big vulgar bash. But who’s got the cash or nerve for such an extravagance while jobs and nest eggs are evaporating right and left.
Good thing there are yesteryear’s parties. Crashing them vicariously — you don’t even have to put on shoes — is part of the fun of "The World in Vogue: People, Parties, Places."
"Parties" is the second smallest but most boisterous chapter of this large 389-page coffee table bauble. The section documents lavish society weddings and several Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute galas (considered the city’s premier parties).
The best spread is ancient history, from the now-legendary Black and White Ball that Truman Capote threw in 1966 for 540 celebrity guests.
Most are gone. Even the youngest attendees, like Mia Farrow, newly married that year to Frank Sinatra, are in their 60s.
Among the many photographers at the party, Lawrence Fried shot the Principessa Luciana Pignatelli wearing a 60-carat diamond on her forehead. People were unafraid of outrageous display in those days.
A "grab-the-stone-and-run look comes over everyone who sees it," reported Gloria Steinman, who was covering the ball. Nice to hear that the beautiful people aren’t immune to envy.
Except for the "Places" chapter, which situates famous subjects in gorgeous settings — gardens, drawing rooms, Paris — "The World in Vogue" is just a life-and-times of the beautiful people, as shot by skilled and well-paid photographers.
It’s impossible (in this context) but fun to play who’s-the-fairest. Could it be Sophia Loren shot in velvety black and white by Snowdon in 1970. Or model Giselle Bundchen, caught in Brazilian sunbeams by Mario Testino in 2000.
What about Annie Leibowitz’s 30-year supermodel panorama from 1999, a timeline of fresh young things destined to become durable beauties. Note the lean and gorgeous Patti Hansen, at the far right, a Tottenville girl before she married Keith Richards.
A few newcomers got into the book, namely the president, first lady and first daughters, photographed by Ms. Leibowitz on the White House lawn.
Some subjects — models, actresses or ex-models — are so preposterously photogenic, they have their own chapters.
Iman, the Kenya-born 1970s supermodel, shares several frames with her clearly besotted husband, David Bowie. He’s one of the few men in the book.
Of course, fashion (rather than mere celebrity) drives both Vogue the magazine and the book. How else to explain the jacket-cover selection? A red-carpet moment, it’s a shot of nearly makeup-free Giselle Bundchen and Tom Brady arriving at last year’s Costume Institute ("Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy") bash.
Unlike much of what’s in the book, it’s not a staged/styled fashion set-up, but an on-the-fly, lucky catch by Dimitrios Kambouris. The point is Giselle’s wearing Versace. And, yes, that is veteran, highly respected fashion photographer Bill Cunningham’s camera in hand at the far right, on the carpet where he belongs.

PopCrunch: Leonardo DiCaprio Sends Baby Gift 2 Gisele Bundchen Tom BradyModel No. 2: Gisele Bündchen, maybe you've heard of her? She's the current goodwill ambassador for the U.N. Environment Program and protects rain forests in Brazil. (When was the last time you even recycled?)

There’s no bad blood between exes Leonardo DiCaprio and former flame Gisele Bundchen.
While the couple didn’t work out romantically, the Oscar-nominated star played the distinguished gentleman this holiday season and sent a baby gift to congratulate the Brazilian stunner and her hubby Tom Brady on the arrival of their son, Benjamin. “Leo wasn’t looking to get married and Gisele was, so that’s why it ended,” an insider divulged to Britain’s The People. “Leo still considers her a friend and was so happy for her and Tom that he sent them a basket
filled with baby stuff as soon as she gave birth.”

Since they haven't spoken about it to the media (as far as we know) we'll just give you a "hint" - supermodel + football star. Apparently, the local media in Boston were reporting that she had scheduled a C-section to assure that dad would be there for the birth. The press was calling every hospital in town and totally baffled that they couldn't find her!
