Of course she would look herself, duh, she cant really turn into the real Santa Claus or wearwolf, right ?

For me a great model is a versatile model. Who can produce totally different work and be believable at that. And that she sure can.

I think the only models that can look like totally different persons are the "ugly" ones, they can make them look more pretty or the complete opposite... but with stunning models like Gisele no matter what they do, they´ll always look like themselves. Versatility is not about them looking like different people but them delivering a different "vibe" each time, and over the years she has accomplished that. Maybe the problem is that editors/designers prefer to make her a bombshell most of the time so we rarely see her styled in a different light...?

I would say that the more distinct the face the harder it is to be versatile, especially when your such a recognised model.

^ But Kate Moss looks different in each photo shoot she does and she's probably more recognizable than Gisele. Kate can do the rock chic thing. She can put on some couture Chanel gown and look incredibly elegant. You put different wigs on Kate and she looks like a totally different person, but with Gisele it's not the same. She's always Gisele. I remember an old couture shoot she did for HB that was shot by Karl Lagerfeld and even then she looked like a beach-y girl who just happened to be wearing Chanel and Dior. Whereas other models can transform into the character of the clothes, Gisele, in my opinion, never becomes a different character.

kidding! I don´t know... I think Kate, Daria, Karlie etc always look like themselves.

^^ me to! Daria can pull different faces and pose differently but she still looks like Daria. (I love Daria btw) And even when Kate was dressed like David Bowie for that magazine it still looked like Kate. And I always find her rock chic even when she's elegant.
I think nowadays they want people to know its gisele because she sells!

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady met up and hugged as he stepped out the Patriots locker room after a difficult Super Bowl loss in Indiana on Sunday. Tom and his team lost to the NY Giants in a close game, which Gisele watched from a luxury box. The Patriots were unable to pull out a win, despite Gisele's now-famous email asking for best wishes from friends and family on "Tommy's" big day. Even so, he gets to come home to a happy personal life with Gisele and his two adorable sons. Hopefully now that the season is over they'll find time for a romantic getaway, considering how much they love hitting the beach and we've seen how much all-star quarterback Tom also enjoys a waterslide.

Gisele is one of the MOST versatile models out there, she can go from Versace to Victoria's Secret to Givenchy and Balenciaga, like nobody's buisness.

In terms of versatility, she was allowed to show it more at the start of her career when she was a nobody - these days, when people hire her, most of the time they're paying for the superstar to turn up on set, the face, body and name that sells like few other models can.

I get the sense that she's always willing to work hard to produce whatever end result is required by the magazine or client, but most of the time, they just want something recognisably "Gisele".
