Hmm... I've been covetting a Nightingale for a while now at Barney's. I think in autumn I might get one, should the opportunity arise.
 
omg PursePrincess your creme nightingale is gorgeous!! ive been eyeing them for the longest time but just cant seem to save enough to buy them. and they never go on sale... maybe for the winter sale? :)
 
HI everyone! I"m new to this thread and LOVE all your nightingale bags. Is it next to impossible to get one in the medium black w/gunmetal hardware anymore? I believe all the ones on ebay are fake, LVR doesn't have any...and I can't seem to log onto Barneys.

Thanks for any thoughts!
 
I actually snagged one of these @ Barneys after all! I was lucky enough to get the medium black w/gunmetal hardware, the original version, after all. So if anyone's looking for one, call Barneys and have them do a search for you! They're still around, maybe not in the larger maxi size, but in the medium.
 
Pixiedust - I want pics! Is yours the one with metallic handle of python? That's the one I'm lusting after.

Please post photos! Would love to see that bag. BTW which version is Nicole's? I know it's the medium (not Maxi) but it looks like it's the newer fall model with gold hardware and thinner shoulder strap (not the original version with thick shoulder strap with a zipper in it) -- could somebody clarify? I'd much prefer the original version which had that extra x-factor compared to the fall version with thin shoulder strap.
 
HI girls! Just checking back. Tiger1 - mine isn't the python = it's the one labellavita89 is talking about - black leather in medium size with gunmetal hardware, the original version with the thicker shoulder strap/zipper deal. I can't wait to get it! Tomorrow's the day - I'll post pics of it for sure.

Oh labella Nicole's is the newer version w/gold which I'm not so keen on. The Traina sisters have the original version in maxi size I'm pretty sure.

I found mine @ Barneys. I called the Boston store which didn't have anymore, but the SA found the one I wanted in the system @ another Barneys, not sure which one. If you called any Barneys I'm sure they could do a search for you to track one down!
 
Hi guys, I'm hoping you can give me some help/advice please?!

I'm saving up to buy the Nightingale Satchel in black, medium size. But I have no idea what so ever where I can actually buy one in England! Without visiting London and trailing around the shops, does anyone in the UK know where they are sold or can you tell me what I should do to locate one? Do I phone around the big department stores? I really have no clue!:doh:
 
somebody once posted that they are sold at Selfridges in London....why dont you check??

does anyone have any pics of the new maxi in black with gold hardware with the thin sstrap i want to see what it looks like on..i don't know if i should go for the medium or the xl size???does the xl look good with dresses during the say?

Love the maxis...i have the cream and black,both are maxis
but i would love to have a medium size too if i find another colour that i like...

Crap! I got mine today and it's NOT the original. Mine looks just like Nicole's - gold zipper, silver shiny hardware and thin shoulder strap. I actually like it though - asking my SA to see if she can find me the original style w/the gunmetal and thicker strap w/zipper but not sure if I'll get one......I'll test drive the one I have. What would you all do, keep or return? It's an adorable style though I was disappointed it wasn't the original I was expecting :(
