I have a feeling if Ryan replaces cast members, then Glee would lose it's audience? I mean all of the characters have a significant part of the show. Replacing them would feel forced and weird and I am sure people would clearly be pissed.

I do agree that it would be unrealistic to keep the kids in school for 8 seasons. But I would love to see the kids after high school. Like Rachel probably going to broadway and stuff. That would be neat

I agree. I really don't see how it's going to work replacing them. He would surely have to introduce the new cast next season so we can grow to like them. I hope he doesn't do it the ''Skins" way.

I know!! He had the flower in his hand and everything! *sob* But I think something will happen to make Rachel definitively tell Jesse it's not gonna happen and then she and Finn will have their NYC date. *sigh*CAN'T WAIT!

seriously, i don't see this show lasting more than 4 seasons (plus that's like a regular period of Ryan's shows), esp. with new actors.

^not sure if it's the case, but maybe these are just pictures from one song? most of the times at festivals and concerts photographers are only allowed in the pit right in front of the stage during the first few songs, maybe these were taken before the first costume change. (i hope so at least)

for the valerie number they naya, heather and the dancers are in skirts and a polo shirt. they always keep the costumes pretty bland though.

I don't think it's lip-synching so much as using click tracks actually from what I've heard. I can't speak for all of them but there are some members of the cast who could turn in perfect performances night after night live with their eyes shut.

^^only Lea sings live. most of them either lipsync or have their mic open but only sing a little bit and they have very strong back-up vocals. it was very obvious with Darren. he's a good live singer when he can sit down or just stand behind the mic, but as soon as as he has to move around and remember a choreography his voice is sh*t but it was perfect, with not a single missed note at the concert and they were jumping around and moving all the time (i only watched 'raise your glass' and 'silly love song'). and people who went to the concerts said that only Lea sang live and some others occasionally.
it's so stupid.
they can all sing, they should either give them more time to work on singing and dancing and some cardio workouts or reduce the choreos and let backup dancers take care of that. but i'd hate to pay for a ticket to watch some stupid playback show

I heard naya lip synced valerie and heather, dianna, and tina lip synced. Chris lip synced the speaking part of born this way which is weird

Sadly click tracks and the like are a part of many pop concerts now, thankfully not live theatre. It doesn't surprise me Lea sings live, that's who my comment was aimed at earlier, that girl can turn in eight shows a week on Broadway perfectly.
