For its second season, the Fox musical “Glee” is holding a nationwide search for three new singers. The casting calls will begin in February for professionals and amateurs, ages 16 to 26, the “Glee” executive producer Ryan Murphy announced at a press event on Monday. “Anybody and everybody now has a chance to be on a show about talented underdogs,” Mr. Murphy said. Meanwhile, Fox confirmed on Monday that “Glee” would be renewed for a second season. The show has tested its fans’ patience at times, first with a preview of the first episode in May, four months before its season premiere, and again with another four-month break this winter between the first and second halves of the season.
