Glee

^ i remember back in april when they held those open auditions, i think it said you must be available to work in july. so i guess thats when filming starts, maybe they will premiere in january after american idol.

each episode takes about 3 months to make so thats why they have long breaks. i mean first they have to write the story, then pick the songs, get music rights, record song, edit song, film/ rehearse the dance numbers. its alot they have to do

The season lost its charm dramatically after it restarted for the second half, imo.

I knew VA would win though.

Hmm, curious to see what they have in store for next season. I cant see much of a storyline anymore tbh

p.s. baby beth is ADORABLE!

That was WITHOUT a doubt the least satisfying series finale I have ever seen, ever!

Way to ruin VA´s Bohemian Rhapsody with Quinn having the baby

Not a bad episode but not their best, imo. It didn´t get me excited for next season...

Sue was on fire interacting with Will, "I don´t want to catch poor" but awww who knew she has a heart

It takes 3 months to shoot an ep?! wow, I thought it was only 2 or 3 weeks

i liked the last episode too. it, for once, had a really nice flow to it and it passed so quickly. i loved the VA/Q combo for Bohemian rhapsody. :)

Loved the final. It wasn't the best ep but it was still great.
So happy they did the Journey mashup (I love "Anyway You Want It").
Man who knew Olivia Newton-John was such a b*tch lol.
I just finished loading all the Glee soundtracks and DL the extras that aren't on them onto my iPod.
Can't wait for next season in September.

I really enjoyed this episode
and im glad that they didnt win against VA, but of course i was still rooting for them

i was glad to know who Sue voted for though.
shes becoming more human as the series went along, which is nice to see.
while i love her cracks at Will, they do get a bit repetitive and predictable.

btw, did anyone else see Shelby adopting Quinn's baby from a mile away ?
i knew it when she was talking to Will about wishing she had a baby girl because she missed out on Rachel.
i was thinking 'shes the one who gets Quinn's baby'
that was predictable for me.

Ryan talks about season 2
(EW) -- It's going to be hard for Gleeks to face the long, hot summer without any new "Glee" episodes, now that the first season has sadly come to an end.

But those rabid fans are in luck: EW has some scoop on what we'll be seeing next year.

"We're plotting the first 11 and we already know the first six of them and they're really big fun, moving episodes," says co-creator Ryan Murphy. "We always go back to the idea of how does our society treat and feel about funding for the arts, and the answer is not very good."
• More musical tributes: "The Madonna episode was so popular, I think I'm gonna do two tribute episodes -- one in the fall and one in the spring -- and we're figuring out who those artists are."

• New characters: Murphy already let it slip that Susan Boyle might be appearing but he and producers are also looking to add some new members to the club, including a boyfriend for Kurt.

"I just want him to be an everyday dude," says Murphy. "And I want him to be sort of struggling [with his sexuality] and Kurt helps him deal with it and in the process they fall for each other."

Also look for a potential love interest for Mercedes and a Carrie Underwood-esque, Christian country singer who will be a rival to Rachel.

"When people hear we're going to do that, they will expect that we're making fun of her," says Murphy. "We're not. The show is about inclusiveness and about giving voices to a lot of people."

• A major season finale: "I know that season two ends with Nationals in New York. I don't know if they'll make it -- we haven't figured that out."

they need to quit with the musical tributes.
one is enough.

get to the story lines that you have abandoned please.

btw, does this show revolve around Kurt now or something ?
we get it, hes a gay teen.
at least make him a non-stereotypical one

^I know. My friend absolutely loves Kurt and thinks he carries the show, but I'm totally over his plot. Give me something other than him being a stereotypical, super-flamboyant gay teen, like fighting for solos or...I don't know...something other than him being gay and struggling to fit in in a small town.

I loved the Madonna tribute, but I think it should have ended with that one. Let's focus on the plot; let's actually complete a storyline with conclusive results. How about giving other asian/ MIKE CHANG (I love him!!!!) and Brittany a chance to sing. They let freakin Finn have solos every other episode. I'm pretty sure Mike and Brittany can sing and dance at the same time.

Hopefully, these new characters will help Glee get back on track. I'm looking forward to the new season.

yes, there are a lot of inconsistencies... so? no tv show is 100% straight. We´re watching a tv show about musicals! do people sing when they´re about to lose their virginity? I think not... lol and they explained why it would be ok for Tina to walk aroung in a bubble dress and not her goth clothes.

No, I really don't think any high school would let her walk around like that (for several days in a row), and those kinds of inconsistencies shouldn't appear when the show has been in one season.
I don't know if the producers are making it campy on purpose, but it's obviously coming out that way, and yet people are taking it so seriously, as if it's such something to take seriously on television like The Sopranos. Then again, most of those people who think like that are just fans of musical theater :innocent:

Three questions:
1. Is Terry still going to be credited as a regular? She was still in the starring part even during the second half of the season.
2. What year are they supposed to have finished? If they're sophomores, that supposed third season will, realistically, be the last?
3. Are they going to split the season again?

^2-They´ll be forever 17 like Bart Simpson´s 10 since 1989 lol

Kidding!

^^it's very obvious that it's supposed to be campy and ridiculous, and nobody is taking it 100% serious it's just a fun show:rolleyes:

i remember ryan talked on oprah about how hes gonna make them high school sophmores forever. but i think he was joking... they shouldn't have picked 28 year old actors to play a 16 year old.

i dont brittany can sing. shes on the show because she was the one who taught them the single ladies dance and they just needed another cheerleader so they chose her. i dont wanna hear her sing, she can barely act to begin with

^ whos 28 ?

i get that its a fun show, and it is, but they could be a little more consistant when it comes to the storylines. they start them, but dont finish them..

as for Brittany, 'the other asian' and that other guy, I think they are just on it for the dancing. they seem like they are dancers more then singers, so i guess they just sing along with the words without actually singing.

as for her acting, i dont think you really need to act much when your cast as the (yet another stereotypical teen) dumb blond cheerleader who probably cant tell the difference between a cat and a dog.
