Lee Server talks about Grace in his book on Ava-how does he relate her to Ava?

Well Lee only talk about how they interacted on the Mogambo set. At first, Grace loathed Ava: she was shocked with Ava's boozy ways and promiscuity (Grace was still a good girl then). She told a friend that Ava was a 'real mess'. Then, as the filming proceeded, Grace was completely metamorphosed, she began her affair with Gable (unsurprisingly, a married man) and started to drink in the same way Ava did at the parties they frequently had on set (she was more than once violently sick). Lee relate a particularly decadent party which ended in a bordello.
Ava liked Grace but was slightly jealous of her because she felt she had her success really easily while she had to wait for years doing cheese-cake pictures before getting a starring role. In the end, they remained friends (or at least friendly).

Harumi, I agree with others that have posted their opinions of The swan. I enjoyed watching the film but I would call it a great film or one of Grace's best.
