Yes! Fab idea...

I've got a few myself to contribute. But will post later....

On this subject,I suggest you guys pick up that book "Fashion & Graphics". Great features in it on the relation between the two disciplines and the benefits of a designer's image. Such as invitations, show posters...even down to the designer's label design.

also worth checking out http://www.fabrica.it/
run by benetton(united colors and colors magazine)...it a haven for designers but its extremely tough to gain admission...

also Work in Progress has a magazine called Self Service-really great layouts and typography..but its expensive cheaper in europe than the us

Coincidentally I've been for the last few weeks researching graphic art, and all its applications.
thanks for starting the thread.

i love the work of m/m paris (http://www.mmparis.com)...they were the art directors of french vogue before fabien baron, and have done work for bjork. they are also frequent collaborators with inez vanlamsweerde and vinoodh matadin, my favorite photographers.

Yes (I love his work) and now when I think of it, those textiles do resemble a little bit Japanese art and Hokusai. :D The theme were Finnish nature, though.

Drowned, I loved those pictures
Scott, wonderful as always. Willhelm's look books are always formative images for me visually.

I enjoy this topic. :D

Love the Willhelm look-book pics, and Paul Boudens' for Jurgi Persoons.
