Strawbutter--
if you go to the bigactive website & click on her general portfolio, one of the last images is a big tapestry of those kinds of characters
(not literally a tapestry, but you know what I mean)

cerfas, that's exactly why I love Carmen & Elle. They've helped him create this this extra vision--more scenario driven,to help add a certain story board to his clothes each season. I think the collaboration has been nothing short of utter brilliance for his imagery.

you're welcome scott!

i like the the examples you posted cerfas.

here is something from www.unit-f.at/

graphics by harald kreimel (fashion by ute ploier:heart:, photography bernd preiml, styling bettina tunakan)

I love these 2 Kam Tang pieces you picked our Cerfas... The one of the ball reminds me so much of the Japanese video game Katamari Damacy, one of the most fun + visually arresting things I've ever seen.

Emmanuelle mafille, m/m, and berthoud for helmut lang are all gorgeous.

This Genevieve Gauckler picture, from her Colette Show series, is interesting. I have a soft spot for pop. I don't know anything about the context of her work, but I love the mixed mediums.. France seems to have a knack at uniting illustration/graffiti with fashion...

c/o LaCoquette , one of my favorite fashion tidbits: Monsieur Andre the graffeur ran a project called Love Graffiti until 2003. He'd accept commissions to spray paint the name of your loved one in their neighborhood...

"Can you imagine waking up and seeing your name? Painted on a wall in big fat, colorful letters? Surrounded by hearts?"

His wife, Madame Andre, runs a small boutique in Paris that's pretty heavily indebted to graphics loving fashion. Take a looksie at the Coquette pic of her store to see for yourself. :)

just another uber-fab tFS thread, love just about everything been posted here, very inspiring :flower:

We were talking about him in art class yesterday. REally genius. I especially love how he brings something that appears to be drawn in his picture gradually to a 3-D form..like the lizards here. Also his impossible architecture. How one floor of a building acts as two. You could spend hours trying to figure it out viewing it as the 2nd floor and then as the 3rd floor.

thanks ronnie for the links--especially contributing Banksy. I would have liked to have seen his stuff while i was in london--i remember him being in the paper for the Trust No- One statue.
