You're right, lighting changes the color of the bag a lot. Not just camera flashes, but natural lights as well. What I mean is, when I was looking at the bag last night, it looked a bit more brown. Now, during the day, it is more orangish! Well, whatever the color of this little bag, I love it so much, don't you? The leather is incredible and the carmel color goes with so many things!
The only thing I am weary of is the silk interior. I don't want to get something on it and ruin it!

The lining isn't so bad... just keep your keys inside one of the pockets or something...
I do love the bag though... it kind of reminds me of those bulga bags without those tassel things...
the leather is nice... I'm still trying to pinpoint on what kind of leather it is... It's not kidskin or lambskin.. so I'm assuming it's calf.. I dunno either way.. I like the bag

I am not so much worried about my keys as I am my lipgolss, lotion, etc. I suppose I just need to buy a new little cosmetic case before I use this bag. I got tired of my old one, so I havn't been using one at all. The bag I carry now has black interior, so I havn't noticed any markings as of yet! Any suggestions for a cute cosmetic bag? Suppose I could do a search......

baby goat.. Kidskin is mostly used in shoes.. and the skins are generally smaller.. and the leather is more brittle... which is why I think this is somethign more like calf.

oooohhh, yah, i know im horrible but i couldn't resist. everyone complains about the stiffness of lush's leathers but if you put some leather moisturizer on the bag and a little shoe polish, its as soft as a coach bag!
