Great Bags Under $500

I agree that Active Endeavors is a great site, some great bags for under $500. I also love the Tano bags posted earlier.

I like the Active Endeavors site too...would like to get a Kooba Sienna in a tan color (they don't have it) and an Andrea Bruekner large hobo in Dark brown. I really like the Andrea Bruekner bag, very BV-looking but without the $$$ cost ( I need to start saving up for school again!). But regarding the Kooba bag, I already have a leather Chloe Silverado and I was thinking that the Kooba Sienna might be redundant because they both have that *rugged Western* style?

There is this Spanish brand called Mango that sells really gorgeous clothes and bags. Their bags for this season are not that good as the previous ones(unfortunately, there is also Balenciaga knock-off ), but there are some groovy finds!

I belive there are also some pretty good finds from Coach.
This may be slightly off topic - I always wait for Bottege Veneta to be on sale, there are some good finds going at slightly above $500. I got my hobo at $550, and it was marked down from $1030, so I think that was really a steal.

OOhh.. I LOVE Mango! They have awesome bags!

oddly, one weekend i saw several girls carrying the kooba sienna bag in the brown leather and it just didn't look very nice.

Hi, I haven't seen anyone carrying the Kooba Sienna bag in person but that's so funny you mentioned the Gerard Darel bags...I have been thinking a lot about that bag too. I have decided not to get a Kooba Sienna bag because I already have the leather Silverado which has that 'Western rugged' look..don't want to keep copying the same look. Have you seen anyone with the Gerard Darel bags, leather or python?

I just wanted to mention that this thread caused me to buy the Bebe caramel bag on ebay (I paid $200.00 including shipping for a new bag, which seems ok given the original $169.00 pre-tax price).

I just loooove big bags, and that one seemed so great for fall!

i was at banana the other day and those bags are great quality. i especially liked the brown one with the pockets. it was beautiful leather, especially the red color leather.
