Green Eyes

When you are decideding on an eyeshadow color look at one of those color wheels you used in art class as a kid. Complimentary colors and subtle contrasting colors usually look best.

So if you have green eyes the complimentary colors are the ones next to it, so purples and blues look great, where as the contrasting color is anything with a red tone in it, so go for something that's pink and it will look really good with your eyes.

Eyeshadow for Green eyes

I have greeny grey eye's but when it comes to eyeshadow's it's a pain. Can anyone consider any colours which will best suit my eye colour?

well i have a fair complexion, green eyes and long dark brown hair and i find that if i wear a bit of gold liquid shadow, not much tho just enough to just add a shimmer to the eyelids and then i use a black eye liner just outside my bottom inner rim.. and then i use a white eye liner on my inner rim that way not only have i got shimmery glam eyes but also the elusion of bigger looking eyes.. which always gets noticed

I went to Ulta the other day, and I asked a makeup artist to do my eyesahdow for me.

She used a hot pink shimmery shadow all over, a beigey pink on my lower lids, a dark plum on the outer edge of my eyes and to line, and a yellow-beige to highlight under the brow bone.

It's not something I would have chosen, but it looked really good with my eyecolor. So maybe try plummy pinks?

I like salmon colored lose eye shimmer powder. Something that's obviously pink... but has a gold color to it... it looks really good... also, silvers, and steel blue eyeliners...

I lvoe green eyes! I have brown eyes but I always wished they were green. I think pink would be lively with green eyes and pale skin... I love green and pink together.

what make? i have been trying to find a really nice brown for ages.

i really like to use a black linner on the top lid and barry M green linner on the bottom. (somethimes a little green shadow), lots of mascara needed for a dramatic effect.

Brace yourself... Mary Kate and Ashley's eyeliner from their line at Wal Mart. It's the most beautiful brown eyeliner I have ever seen.

Since my eyes change colours and green is in my eye colour range...

I find that bronzes work really well. Try Lancome Colour Focus in their more yellowy-orange shades if you have darker fair skin that tans really easily.

Also unusually I will use Avon Colour Definition eye duo in the green shade (it was discontinued a long time ago but you can find it on eBay)-it's a liner and cream shadow-and it makes the greens POP.

If you are adventurous try Jane Eye Zing in Surfer Girl-or if you aren't as bold as me use a thin brush to use it as an eyeliner.

Oddly enough I barely have any purple eyeshadow and usually when I do my eyes it's a bronze.

I have green eyes... Mascara and a little bit of glitters work for me - gold is also great, makes my eyes look even greener

I have green eyes too.....I usually only use Mascara. I agree with you OnHighHeels Gold is really good with green eyes. Smokey eyes work for me too when I go out.

I have light green eyes, I don't wear the purple well, looks like so much colour to me with the green. I usually wear mac fluidline brown eyeliner, or bobbi brown eyeshadow in various neutrals. I have pink lower eyelids, instead of like skin-colour anyone else with green eyes have this?

I have green eyes, very pale skin and light brown hair. I mostly use light plums and shimmery champagne or gold. They make my eyes pop and go with everything I wear
