Gucci 85th limited collection: Yay or nay?

Gucci is usually my favorite. But I cant see myself incorporating any of these bags into my wardrobe. Maybe if you wealthy, glamourous and your ugly gucci bag is accompanied by a Maserati or you're summering in Portofino, well maybe then it will look good!

I used to go to the Gucci boutique and see so many beautiful things..
Last week I went and I couldn't find a single bag that I liked

^^^Me too. The last time I visited the store (couple weeks ago), I barely saw anything I wanted. I am SO over them!

But I saw this one in an Elle Gucci ad, its wasn't so bad, but still not really my thing.

I checked them out in my Gucci store today. They`re actually not that bad - the velvet and dark colours are nice for fall.

Nay to those for me as well. I purchased an 85th anniversary bag but its a solid cream color leather with just the 85th anniversary plate. The ones pictured above are just too out there for me, which is the reason I never got into the LV chain line, it has that same feel IMO.

I felt the bag in store not too long ago, it's really cheap and stiff velvet, not at all worth the price. The material makes me think of the really sleazy 1970s.

SERIOUSLY!!!!!! sleazy 70's is exactly what i thought! just add a white suit and some pocket hankys.....ewwwwwwwwwwwww! these are really awful! what the hell were they thinking???
