I like the new bags...they are very "mature" and seem to be geared towards WOMEN, especially professional women. I like that...

I like the first one in the second set. The shape reminds me of the boston bag of previous collections. I am not sure I like the patent leather look and the sequins well ...um... no.

I agree, I like most of them except the sequined/patent leather ones.

got a guccissima price list in the post today... not liking the collection, but for those who are interested... the most expensive item is a $3090 wheeled suitcase. it looks like the bags are ranging from about $800 to $1195... there's a small bag for around $600... shoes around $400. there are also accessories incl belts, gloves and agendas...

I saw the Guccissima patent leather horsebit variation up close and it's quite cheap looking. No offense to anyone who likes it, but it looks and feels like vinyl....not good imo.

My sister saw the La Pelle Guccissima ad and she got all excited "a new line from Gucci?" she said, she's saving up in anticipation. She'll know how cheap they are when she sees it, she is good at telling quality.

I agree ... the leather looks kinda ... bruised. The way the leather takes the dye reminds me of something bad fashion-wise from my childhood, exactly what I'm not sure. I think the best thing they've done lately is bring back that Grace Kelly floral from the 50s. But ... Gucci has never appealed to me.
