Gucci F/W 2019.20 by Glen Luchford

Vintage covers done extremely right! I can't help but love Gucci ads even though the clothes do nothing for me season after season.

I love it! Even the b/w studio shots work better then majority of campaigns we’ve seen at the moment. And the ones in color are truly amazing! It looks like something Meisel could do (or did) for Vogue Italia in 00’s

I get it.... if this going to print in the other side of the magazine cover, it looks like a magazine...

Oh I get it, Mon. It's Gucci, back in top form after a few lackluster campaigns!

Instant love from me! Their clothes may slowly be moving off my radar, but as long as Luchford and Michele are in charge of campaigns, I'm on board. I thought the b&w covers would be enough, but then the colour ones came. Everything is just perfect. It's luxe, it's fashion-forward, it's narrative driven.

Campaign of the season!

Incredible. It's so whimsical and cleverly camp. Gucci is really on a league of its own in the campaigns section.

Yet anothet stunning ad! It's such a delight that they have continuously came up with concepts that are alluring, intruiging, but still very in line with each other.

Luchford managed to find a way to elevate a studio shoot. Campaigns like this are what make me still excited for fashion. Michele should just drop fashion shows in the future because his clothes on the runway often play out like an endless stream of gratuitousness and only release a big, conceptually stunning ad campaign instead.

These are spectacular. There’s not a single brand out there operating now who’s marketing and campaigns can hold a candle to what Gucci is doing. The creativity and execution of these ad campaigns are breathtaking. Like another user mentioned, they have the same energy as the thrilling Meisel x Vogue Italia stories back in the day.

Can’t wait for the video.

I love what Gucci is doing, even with questionable clothes they get a context in their campaigns that everything works, like Moschino does and D&G used to do with Meisel!

I don't know how I missed this thread, but wow much needed after that Givenchy eyesore. This just feels right, everything Gucci does is so perfectly co-ordinated and "on brand" (as much as I hate the term), nothing feels out of place in the universe they have created. And the result speaks for itself, when you spend your marketing budget on the production instead of tween popstars.

Anyway, the video is here as well

I’m obsessed with the video! It’s perfect! I wish he would present a collection in that old school way...

As for prints, it gives me VP under Carine, the early 00’s days when Glen was shooting and when M/M was involved.

I don’t like the campaign as much as I like the video but it’s good.

The clothes...very offensive for the eyes.

This video is heaven . Gucci is the brand which delivers the best campaigns lately. I hate the show therefore the collection but not anymore.

Love it! Not a fan of Gucci, but they have the best campaigns lately.
