Gucci 'Flora' Fragrance : Abbey Lee Kershaw by Inez & Vinoodh & Solve Sundsbo

Looking at this ad in print earlier today, I noticed that the individual perfumes have been given very idiotic names - gracious tuberose, gorgeous gardenia and glamorous magnolia.

Reading this, it makes a bit more sense - and I can see why they would go for the 'G' repetition - but still, to me, those names sound childish, like they belong to a range of scented dolls for young girls:

The prestigious Italian fashion house of Gucci launches a new collection of fragrances under the creative director of Frida Giannini. It comes out in May 2012 named Flora by Gucci Garden Collection. The collection includes five most important blossoms outlined on the legendary Gucci scarf designed by Vittorio Accornero for Princess Grace of Monaco. These five new editions are: Glorious Mandarin, Gracious Tuberose, Gorgeous Gardenia, Glamorous Magnolia and Generous Violet.

Love this campaign, she looks so ethereal ...she’s not my favourite model; I find more often than not she can photograph quite harsh but I adore everything about this.

I smelled the perfumes the other day too and the Gardenia one was without a doubt my favourite. :P

these shots are beautiful, but something is off with Abbey's face in some of them. Ethereal in the body and a corpse in the face

so beautiful..abbey looks gorgeous in every single ad..and I love her facial expression she looks so fragile and beautiful :crush:

I really like this ad series...the overexposure really works.
