I've been searching thru all the threads to find out what sites have the Gucci Horsebit hobo like Jessica Simpson's. I've found a smaller version on alot of sites but i'm looking for the larger one at Katie Haugland's site in the ruby color. I'd prefer the fabric style.

the hot pink monogram canvas is sold out nationwide. i had my local sales associate try to locate one for me in August, but after 2 days of searching their computers & calling indivudual stores, nothing.

Gucci Horsebit bag?

Hm.. can any gucci experts help? I'm questioning the size/zipper/studs on the handle on this bag....

Did a smaller version of this pink gucci horsebit ever exist? I thought it did.. but I dont know if this bag is authentic.. anyone?

They did make a smaller fuschia bag like that, but that bag is totally fake. There are only 2 studs on either side of the strap, not 4. 95% of the horsebit hobos on ebay are fake.

I don't have any personal experience with Gucci. But the leather seems very, very flat for Gucci's typically high-grain leather. The other details such as the horsebit and crossing over of the handles are up to par.

BTW that is a gorgeous bag!

wtf ew that is definitely fake!!! the leather isn't supposed to be like that and why in the world is that little tag hanging on the outside?! thats what they do with fake bags to make it seem more authentic, but they never hang like that... they're inside the bag

Honestly, I dont know:blink: ... I think Gucci is hard to tell (for me personally Dior and LV are the easiest to spot as fakes)...

What I dont get is why is the seller's feedback comments and score "private"... that sucks I hate that...

But seriously, for that price it BETTER Be... let us know when she recieves it.:flower:

i just picked one up yesterday and the leather looks NOTHING like that.. it doesn't stand like that at all. there are tons of horsebit fakes floating around ebay

the leather on the ebay one looks really cheap and flimsy... its much wrinklier and flimsier than even the one in that picture

do a search for "gucci horsebit" and you will find a slew of fakes, some of which look good. the giveaways are the cheesy gucci paper tag and the round raised thing above the zipper pocket that might be a magnetic closure (in the picture where she's lifting the serial number tag) -- the real one does not have any sort of closure. and $425 for a very popular bag (the entire country was recently sold out) that retails for $1200?? I don't think so. and I'll bet the starting price was really low and there was no reserve -- who in their right mind would do that??! private feedback is also a tip-off. did your friend ask her if it's authentic? it's always better to have it right from the seller's mouth. have your friend take it to a Gucci boutique if she wants to know for sure (or not, if she loves it and doesn't care). or it looks like she can return it (allegedly) if she contacts the seller within 24 hours.
