Gucci 'Horsebit Loafer 1953' F/W 2023.24 : Paul Mescal & Xiao Zhan by Heji Shin

The lack of direction/identity....from Daria (which remains the best) to Kendall to now this...it's making my head hurt

Gosh, this is one deeply unattractive and drab advertising campaign. There’s just zero allure or aspiration here.

I am afraid Sabato de Sarno has already plateaued advertising campaign wise with that Daria Werbowy offering. Nothing else is comparing... and I'm officially concerned.

I think these are very in line with the Kendall/Bad Bunny campaign, and with the F/W 23.24 campaign as well. Daria is the outlier and I don't recall ever seeing that ad in print.

kinda into this shot

If Ford was hot sex, De Sarno is musty sex. It might occassionally hit the right spots, but it's nothing to brag about. I'm not impressed by his visual identity so far.

No female? I miss that Charlotte Casiraghi ad....Bruce Weber is the best choice.

There's something charming about that last video with Paul....

by itself it sorta works, but not for Gucci

The one where he's wearing shorts and a trench coat is hot.

Too many stunts and nothing seems to hit the mark. Michele had such a strong vision that it's impossible not comparing to his period whenever something new comes up.

I knew that it wouldnt be good just didnt expect it to be this bad.

Ok so Sabtos imagery is not hitting whatsoever.
