I like the concept, the end result not so much. The photography looks cheap imo...

I love it, i love the cast and i love the whole atmosphere. It doesn't look like an ad campaign and that's what i like the most.
It looks like photos extract from a Vice article

Some pictures looks like they straight from an archive about Congolese-Sapeurs in the 70's. I love that!

One thing: I always find it weird that for people diversity means "all black". I'm black and i like the fact that finally Michele and Gucci are suddenly aware of such things but they should be more inclusive of diversity in a larger scale.
I know the all black cast will not last forever so why not include Asian, middle-eastern (even if i know it's a little bit difficult in this case) and why not aboriginal people?

Everything is awful here. Gucci need Tom Ford comeback.

They know what they're doing with these campaigns..

Remember when we could look forward to Gucci campaigns to see Snejana, Natasha, Freja, Raquel, etc?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

I wonder if they´ll market this campaign in Asia, aren´t they like huge racists?
isn´t that a big market for Gucci?

I'm sure Japan and maybe Korea will be cool with it, Thailand and India will most likely be indifferent, China however,. Gucci is mostly worn by Li Yuchun, who is an immensely famous pop star over there. She's got a bit of an urban twist to her vibe, so that will be enough to market this collection.

This is actually quite brazen of Michele! An all-black cast for Gucci? Don't think I've seen that before, ever. I'm once again rather impressed that Glen Luchford expanded his repertoire to present something so unique. I mean really, Gucci's campaigns are so distinct right now. I recall this collection looked so heavy and overstyled on the runway, but by presenting it in a narrative is quite palatable!

Asking them to tone down the styling is a lost cause at this point I guess.

Depending on how cynical you are, this whole thing can come off as disingenuous and a little pandering

More racist than white people in Europe and the Americas? Doubt it.

In any case this is an awful collection, but I dig the boldness of this campaign, and the models actually elevate the clothes. It will look amazing in print.

I like it. I don't feel so appalled to try some pieces like the lookbook make me feel like, but it's OK.

This is so glam! I absolutely love it! There is so much attitude and emotion going on. My eyes are going everywhere and that's a good thing because the products are scattered throughout. Fantastic!
