Gucci 'Tattoo Heart Collection' 2008 : Rihanna by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin

Not that bad, but why her?

Rihanna doesn't bother me...much...but the bags hurt me eyes.

Gucci copies Ed Hardy - that's horrible!

Rihanna is the right person for the campaing for UNICEF - United Nations for CHILDREN, hey!
THis is not a FASHION ad! imo the add is nice, except for the ugly prints on (ugly) bags...

Rihanna is a right choice for me. She's famous celebrities and suits brand personalities.
But I just hate the production - boring. It seems Gucci want to sell only her to be priority.

:P

Just when I think Gucci can never become worse, it gets worse..........
I just dont know what to say other than please let the economic crisis end so that she can be moved out.......

I have one question....
Who's the photographer for these ads?

Rihanna is probably my favorite modern singer, but she's no model...

I understand why they picked Rihanna.
But a supermodel would've been awesome (Cindy, Claudia,...)

Or Angelina Jolie.
Tom Ford would've been cool either

I wonder if you all would have loved it if it had been a White actress or singer. Let's be real here, it is not HALF as bad as the majority is making it to be. If you dislike the bag, you dislike the bag, but there is nothing wrong with Rihanna. She looks great and the pose is interesting.

She's part Irish on her Dad's side thus she's mixed. Aren't we all though? Rhetorical question of course......The bag is ugly but this is for Unicef. That's the salient point here.

She is there to garner attention; that's why they chose her. She has a nice body, I'll give her that. The Cirque Du Soleil pose is hardly original though.
