Gwyneth Paltrow

I never realised how big Coach was until I went on holiday to the US last year. So many people carry them. Personally I would never would cause I'm a bag snob but I didn't know some people consider it buget. Heaps of people on the net are scratching their heads over G doing this campaign. From high - Dior/Tods to low - Coach. It's interesting.

I am so with you, totally agree, however Coach came out with a limited line sold on net-a-porter.com, very minimalistic bags in solid colors, and I must say they look kind of chic. But yeah, Coach is the brand of the mall girl.

I don´t like when Gwyneth is all "poshed out" like in this ads. I like a lot more her candid style, when she´s is not dolled out. I like to save pictures as inspiration. I almost never like her editorials, but I love her candids, no makeup, when working out or just running errands. When they style her like a "rich girl" she becomes generic.

also when they style her as a "rich girl" - people complain and hate on her saying she's out of reach. you know, the usual.

I feel like the soccer mom and the 16 yr old mall crowd really killed the Coach brand. My bff and I went to the mall one day and started counting Coach bags... 45 in less than two hours... usually paired with Uggs, R&R jeans and overly highlighted hair. Looks like they are trying to lux it up again.

my thing with coach is that yes, they make those nasty, tacky, obnoxious logo crazy bags and everything else. however, once you ignore those they do have some very nice, quality bags and other items. there men's store has many great, basic pieces as well as the womens store too. i think they, as a brand, are trying to move past the whole mall girl image and trying to promote their more chic and stream lined designs. they need a complete image overhaul to be taken seriously and i think this is the start of them doing it.

Good point! I totally second what you said.

The day I see Gwyneth give up her gray Alexander Wang bag for a Coach bag in real life is the day I will consider purchasing Coach, which I have never owned. She looks great in the ad.

@JackieO well since she is the face of the brand she may contractually have to do some "candid" shots with the bag, so we might see her on the street with ("gasps") a Coach bag.

Interesting. An InStyle outake on an Elle cover.

Are they under the same company? I thought they were different.

Marie Claire is the same as InStyle.

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Her $185 Anti-Aging Beauty Secret

Dressing like Gwyneth Paltrow this summer might cost you up to $18,000, but you can get her smooth, glowing skin for under $200.

The 38-year-old star, who recently showed off her amazing bikini body while vacationing off the coast of Italy, is now sharing her anti-aging skin secret -- the Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion -- along with a slew of her favorite summer beauty products in her latest GOOP newsletter.

"[It] focuses on fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes by infusing the skin with anti-aging serum," she writes of the $185 "wonder gadget."

Paltrow is also a fan of the Clarisonic Mia, $149. "I've been obsessed with mine ever since I started using it. I've seen a real difference I my skin."

Her other top picks include Vapour Organic Beauty Luminous Foundation ($34), Supergoop sunscreen ($8.50-$34), Sara Happ Pink Grapefruit Lip Scrub ($24), Kai Body Butter, ($55) and La Licious body scrubs ($32) for "beach-ready skin."

Beauty products aside, the mom-of-two admits that she looks as good as she does thanks to intense workouts with trainer Tracy Anderson.
"I do 45 minutes of cardio five days a week, because I like to eat. I also try for 45 minutes of muscular structure work, which is toning, realigning and lengthening," Paltrow told SELF magazine. "If I'm prepping for something or I've been eating a lot of pie, I do two hours a day, six days a week for two weeks."

I've been waiting for beauty tips from Goop.

That's actually a beauty secret of hers I wouldn't try because her face has been looking weird lately.

I do recommend the Clarisonic though. It's also the one product my facialist at Kate Somerville insists everyone should own.

I read goop today and it was cool to see her using a few of my fave things! The Clarisonic defo changed my skin, can't recommend it enough.

I think I definitely have humour...but I don't know... I don't think celebrities (or ppl in general) should post everything that's on their minds...
I love Gwyn... but she's trying a little bit too hard for me to come off as funny, young and hip these days! That's only my opinion though...

haha I personally don't think she's trying at all - that's just how she is. she IS funny and candid. I respect your opinion though

^ LOL. I wonder if that will annoying Chris.

I think I may have to hunt down this Clarisonic. Is it more of a cream or a serum?
