I was looking for a cream bag ... something to the same effect of the cream paddington in teh same color, size, slouchy leather. Any ideas??? something affordable!

Bottega Veneta Handbag

I read in a magazine that Jennifer Aniston is carrying a Bottega Veneta bag (several pictures of the bag, appears to be black with two shoulder straps, can't remember the name of the bag).

I also saw the People Magazine where Jennifer Aniston had this great Bottega Veneta black handbag that costs $1950. It's a lot of money but it looked like a great handbag. Has anyone seen it in person? Has anyone been to the Bottega Veneta store in NYC? What is their selection at this store? If anyone has one of these bags - is it really worth the big bucks?

Nonnie - I've seen the second one in person and the leather is SUPER soft. I thought about getting it but also agree they are over priced and the rivits/studs are trendy. I probably wouldn't use it long to justify the price.

Slubke - I've been thinking of getting a BV. They seem to be more classic. Are any of the bags worth the big bucks? I suppose its all subjective.

I have the sand/cognac one (1st one pictured) - I love it, it is my airport carry-on, and it is huge.

has anyone seen the new Tod's Bell bag, and, would you say this is a classic buy for the price? I'm looking for ONE (right now) classic handbag I will want to carry for a long time. I have a lot of Coach bags but they don't have the cachet I am looking for right now, and, I don't want to spend 2 grand on a bag.

It is roughly 1000 bucks - HOWEVER I just got back from Vegas and could have bought it for 700 bucks, no taxes shipped free. I might still call them and ask them to ship it. thoughts?
