I am currently in search of a black over the shoulder bag that works for everday use that is in the area of $250. Not anything huge, but just enough to store all the necessities and could potentially do for a casual night out.

I would sincerely appreciate any suggestions, I am just so lacking in this area that I don't even know where to start.

:flower:

Im looking for something similar as well but i would like something big enough for lets say a magazine, i like to read a lot

Hello! I am currently looking for a new bag kind of like a briefcase style with two handles (one short and one long). I really love the style of this one, but its a foreign site that I cannot figure out:

I really love grey and cognac but I am really open to any colors!|
Thanks so much!
If there are any recommendations out there someone would like to say, I am a student who carries my entire world! Just something that can fit a lot of stuff! Thanks so much :)

Gorgeous Eco-Friendly bags made from recycled tractor tire inner tubes

everyone needs to check out passchal; they are virtually indestructable, incredibly chic, and 100% eco-friendly (they're made from retired tractor tire inner tubes!).

that bag is from h&m...i saw it there thursday...
the handles are plastic "chains" and the body is patent pleather...
it's actually quite nice...the patent has a cool marbled effect...
i don't think it's more than $40...

I'm looking for a black bag no more than say $250 to give as a gift to my mother but I don't know what to look for, oh and it must have feet. Please help me out with any suggestions you might have. Thanks :flower:

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a nice bag for myself for the holidays as a gift. I'd like for it to be medium sized and comfy as well as understated. I'll probably carry it around everyday more or less. Any suggestions?

There is a Botkier Convertible? It can be a shoulder bag and satchel. I don't have any pictures on me, however. Sorry. BUT, i know it is a cute bag.

are you into shoulder carry? totes? hobos? leather, fabric?

what designers to you tend to go towards.

Thanks for the suggestion, Erinleigh! I'll definitely check it out!

And Luna, I'm not too particular about the type of bag. I've been mostly looking at leather bags, but I'm not against fabric. As far as designers, I'm not too picky, but I just don't really want an "it" bag. I'd like something that I can use everyday practically and it won't go out of style. I'm worried about the price though. I was looking to just spend about $600, no more than $700.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, Aris! I like it, especially the handles, but I'm just not sure about the fringe. I actually was on the verge of buying a new handbag last night, a Tanner Krolle Weekender on Eluxury and it was on a great sale, but as soon as I was ready to submit the purchase, it was no longer in my cart! The search continues...

I own a Marc by Marc Jacobs Huge hillier... It is very understated and a great looking bag.

It is a season or two old, but you can get a hold of one on eBay or maybe on sale at one of the dept stores.

^a friend of mine has that bag as well (in grey though) and it's great...
fits a TON of stuff and looks good too..

so... i second your recommendation :p

Can someone recommend me a bag please?

I'm looking for a black shoulder bag. It needs to be work appropriate (I work at a law firm) and something that will last me for years, something of an investment piece. I love Chanel 2.55 but it's kind of pricey for my budget. I'm looking for something under $500. A little of my taste: I love Balenciago moto bags, but I think they might be too trendy; I'm looking for something more classic. I also dig Marc Jacobs, but then, who doesn't? LOL
