Handbags: Luella Bartley for Target

Just curious how many people have purchased anything from Luella Bartleys Target line? What do you think of her stuff now that you have seen it in stores? I was able to purchase the cherry wristlet and I think it's adorable.

I bought the cherry coin pouch and the skull clutch, I use em inside of my bag. Makes everything nice and neat.

I think the cherry coin purse is cute (the one with the piercing and tassels), but am waiting to see it in person

i saw it all today and to me it looked like cheapo Marc by marc or something. the leather in the jackets is really dry and bad and there are just too many prints going on. im sure in a few weeks, you'll see all the teenie boppers in it all too, so im not entirely sure if it was a good mover for luella....sure she's getting all the exposure she could ask for, but its cheapening the brand. not that i have anything against target either. i LOVE that store! where else can you buy a shabby chic pillow, golf clubs, music and make-up??? hahhahah but seriously....good move for target, bad for luella in my personal opinion

It's a shame that target wont ship internationally and that using an US fwd service will double the price (I want it, but I'm not sure if I'd actually carry it. I just think it's cute ) The calculator at Jetcarrier says the total price will be $76 to have it delivered here, and I don't love it that much.

The cherry ipod case is also really cute.

I just bought a white blazer jacket yesterday (urgently needed white outfit for sorority mtg) and it was pretty cute. It has red topstitching and colorful buttons, as well as a cherry print lining. I mean, its not as fabulously tailored as something nices, but for 40 bucks I'm happy with it!

But yeah, I agree about the leather... it didnt feel or look "quality" at all. It doesnt make sense to buy a leather jacket from Target, of all places...

I disagree about the suede piece... the dusty rose suede jacket at our Target had GREAT leather, I don't know - it is probably just the batch, since leather completely varies - but I tried it on as well, and the fit was cute.

I just can't get myself to spend $150 at Target though

/\ i do agree with you on that. the suede was nicer than the leather...but a lot of the time, suede at target is pigskin which is way cheaper (price wise in manufacturing costs) than cow-hide suede....but for the leather, they have to use cowhide....did'nt look at it too close to tell what type of suede it was though...and i'd think it'd get dirty pretty easily

awww!!! i just looked at that exact jacket an hour ago at target! (dusty rose one) I doubt anyone will spend that much on a jacket; I'm waiting for it to go on sale in a few months..... BTW they just got an awesome new shipment in for home decorating goods- so tempting!!

I just received the plaid shirtdress in the mail today; I ordered it online because I didn't see it in any of the stores. I really like it. Much better than anything I tried on at the store.

I like the plastic cuff bracelets, but they were too small for me. Cheap, but cute.
