I think one flaw in the MJ design is that all of their bags are very heavy! I believe the thick calfskin and metal hardware is to blame for this.

god yes! i didn't even realize how much of the weight was actually just the bag... an MJ was the first "designer" bag i ever owned, and then i eventually got others, and man, what a difference!!!

Defintiely all of my MJ's are heavy, but I always attributed the weight to the quality of the bag; i.e. because they're heavy, I can carry all of my "stuff" and then some without worrying about stress on the handles. My MJ's are the workhorses of my handbags, and I never worry about carrying everything I need in them, without a problem.

after the crazy MJ sales i don't think i could ever bring myself to spend 1000 on an MJ bag...
i really hope all the bags i like won't get big hoping the balenciaga thing will die down too..

I hope Balenciaga NEVER goes on sale...I know it's kinda selfish but when you spend $1400 on a bag, you want it to worth the price. I bet the many people would stop wanting the Birkin if it ever goes on sale...even at $2000, it would lose its status.

Regular everyday people dont even know what balenciaga is yet. I have one and noone knows what it is. i think balenciaga is gonna be huge. Where I live people are still wearing lame *** coach bags. I love Balenciaga and chloe bags!
